Terror Info

Unlike most terrors, Syzygy will remain invisible and passive. There will be a short message on everyone's screen saying “DON’T WAKE THE MOON” when it initially spawns in.

After a random amount of time, Syzygy will appear on players screens. If the player is moving faster than 4.5m/s, Syzygy will begin screeching and crying, dealing rapid damage to players and slowing them down. After stopping, Syzygy will go back to sleep. Players must remain below 4.5m/s for 6 seconds for Syzygy to leave, as screaming will reset the amount of time needed for it to leave.

Syzygy will become more aggressive once the difficulty has reached Very Hard.

Trivia

  • Syzygy was originally Dozer from Grace before being redesigned & reworked due to controversy.
  • Syzygy will appear overtop of any other screen popups, such as Monika’s jumpscares. Syzygy is still however affected by post processing changes.
  • Syzygy can rarely be summoned by taking damage from Glitched elites.
  • Syzygy will not attack players holding the Have Plush.

The challenge with Syzygy comes when you know you are cetting pursued. If you are not far enough away or if the Terror chasing you is too fast, Syzygy can get you killed with no easy way out of it.

YOU CAN CROUCH TO NOT WAKE THE MOON BUT KEEP MOVING
Elyris

Syzygy has a grace period of about a second or two before its aggression will kick in, giving you just enough time to crouch or stop moving altogether. Additionally, jumping will not trigger Syzygy, allowing you to avoid the attacks of terrors like Genocide Robot or AFKBot.
