Terror Info
Maud walks towards players slowly initially, before speeding up significantly until they reach their target. Maud has a small variety of attacks they can perform.
- Teleport
If no players are nearby, Maud can sometimes teleport to a random player. This will also force them to walk. Maud will teleport much more often in their second phase. - Push
When within range, Maud summons multiple large green hands that push their target. These come from random angles and will knock the player in the direction they move while also dealing moderate damage and slowing them down for a moment. - Slam
Maud summons a large hand on their target that slams the ground, dealing enough to instantly kill players and bumping nearby players. - Finger Gun
Maud creates finger guns aimed at their target in random spots around their target; firing small beams dealing moderate damage and inflicting burn. - Frustrated Grab
Maud can stop and angrily grab a player with a hand and squeeze them, dealing rapid damage and inflicting stacking Weakness before releasing them a moment later.
After 40 seconds of activity, Maud will stop and open a little screen, then appear on everyone's screens and taunt them before shifting into a second phase. Maud will now chase much more often and has new abilities while also creating black and green particles visible through all surfaces. Maud will also warp much more often.
- Popups
Maud will occasionally create popups on the UI, preventing interaction with it and obscuring it. They vanish after a few seconds and follow a set pattern.

- Global Hand Attacks
Random players will be targeted and attacked by hands, which appear nearby or on top of them completely randomly. These can be any attacks related to the hands and are rolled randomly every few seconds. - Virtual Wall
Can be used in place of random hand attacks. A large green flat grid-like wall will appear in front of random players, blocking their path. Terrors can pass through them freely while players cannot. These walls last for around 10 seconds before vanishing.
Trivia
- Despite being able to spawn as an elite, it does not give Maud’s attacks elite status effects.
- Maud will override all UI interactions except for John Doe’s.
- The position of Maud’s walls can be manipulated as they will always appear in the direction the player is facing, so facing backwards will place the wall behind the player. However due to the sporadic nature and scale of Maud’s attacks, this may not be viable.
- Maud has an unused mechanic of pulling your HP bar backwards using a small hand, however, this was scrapped due to the pop-ups obscuring HP too much, causing readability issues. The sprite for the hand still exists on UI, but is unused.
- Maud appearing on players screens is inspired by Eris from Depth Spelunking.
- Maud can sometimes chain-grab players with their random global attacks due to their frequency, resulting in players ending up extremely high in the air.
